For The Noise…. Not Against It
I thought I’d start this blog as a way to market music/musicians that I am interested in, as well as talk about other creative mediums/artists & pop culture topics.
Occasionally I may stray into personal topics or even *gasp* politics—however I promise both will be posted with the intention of creating healthy & positive dialogue &/or awareness.
Although this blog is geared as a forum to promote music & art I thought I’d start my first post to be about me: I’m a 22yr old from Sacramento, CA. I love my roots but consider myself now, a Los Angelen (sp?). I am a second generation Sicilian-Irish American. I am a Taurus & true to my nature, I can be a tad bit tempestuous, but I am extremely passionate & deathly loyal-almost to the point of foolishness.
I am an openbook. I feel the more open & honest you are, the less people can be surprised by or try to hold your skeletons against you. We all have them. Like Kurt Cobain wisely said, “I’d rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.”
I have my B.A. in English Writing Emphasis from Loyola Marymount University. Not that I didn’t love my course of study, but halfway through college I had a life-changing revelation that I wanted to devote my life to the universal language of music & have been working to do just that ever since.
I look forward to growing with all of you on my life path!
